MTV Band Trip: IPK vs. Madsen
ITCHY POOPZKID VS. MADSEN ON MTV ! ! !
Starting on May 22nd, MTV will be sending Madsen and Itchy Poopzkid on the ´Band Trip´ every Wednesday at 7.00 pm! In this new show the bands Madsen and Itchy Poopzkid will have to prove what they are really worth. Being abandoned somewhere in Europe, they have to struggle their way through the continent to their destination – and without any cash, only with their instruments. Who doesn´t convince musicwise won´t get very far!
Without money or cell phone, only armed with their instruments and two vans with full tanks, both bands will be dropped seperately. The task: Return to a certain place as fast as possible! The money needed for food, rent and fuel has to be earned with street music, in bars and the dumbest locations in our hemisphere. In the end, the winner will be rewarded with a price – which is, of course, just as secret as worth the effort!

Itchy Poopzkid
Nobody has ever heard of a small town called Eislingen upon Fils, but everybody knows her three sons forming the band Itchy Poopzkid. In spite of their tender age, Sibbi, Panzer and Saikov are already among the hard working men of German Rock`n Roll. In 2006 alone, they played more than 100 dates since the release of their first album "Heart to Believe". With their new album "Time to Ignite" they built the musical bomb they are going to blow up in 2007.
Madsen
The five guys from Madsen have been rocking through Germany since 1993. They made their breakthrough with their first single, "Die Perfektion", in 2005. The debut album "Madsen" was followed by "Goodbye Logic", shooting the likeable guys from the Wendland right to the top of the German Indie Scene.
MTV
